On this cloudy Monday afternoon, I start my hike from the Langeberg around a quarter past four. It is a peaceful afternoon to head out for a bit in the Brunssum area, which is also home to the NATO headquarters Joint Force Command.

While walking, I enjoy the nature around me. Along the way, a beautiful detail in the landscape catches my eye, and I take a photo of a lovely flower. After a nice loop of over seven kilometres, I arrive back at my starting point on the Langeberg around twenty to six, feeling satisfied.
